1. The ITN Core Methodology (L-10-T)

ITN members adopt “prayer evangelism” as the foundational lifestyle for operating in the five paradigms for transformation.
The Principles of Prayer Evangelism* & model from Luke 10:1-17 are:

1. Bless: Speak peace to people and systems in your sphere of influence.(v.5)
2. Fellowship: Intentionally connect with those outside the Kingdom of God.(v.7)
3. Meet needs: Address their felt needs either directly or in prayer in the name and on behalf of Jesus.(v. 9a)
4. Proclaim: Let them know that the Kingdom of God has come near to them.(v.9b)

ITN Africa calls this L-10-T (Luke 10 Transformation)

Although the steps of L-10-T are simple, resistance to change and old habits prevent the lifestyle change that accompanies L-10-T. Therefore short training programmes have been developed for adults and youth (currently in English and Afrikaans) to overcome this problem. A Train-the-Trainer course is also available.

The training manuals and PowerPoints are explained and made available for download below.

2.1. The L-10-T information Pamphlet

The L-10-T Information Pamphlet is a two-page (A4) information pamphlet about L-10-T.

This pamphlet may be used as a first level information pamphlet about L-10-T to a congregation, business and youth leaders and all other Christians.

2.2 The L-10-T Information and trainers guide

The L-10-T Information and trainers guide serves two purposes: the first part is detail information about L-10-T and its application personally, in a congregation, business and in city transformation. The second part is detailed information for L-10-T trainers to equip them to give the training in the different training manuals (items 3 to 6 above).

L-10-T trainers to be should read the entire L-10-T Information and trainers guide and the training manual that you plan to train.

We recommend that you contact us to see if we cannot give training for trainers in your area or whether our training DVD (planned for mid 2007) is not available.

2.3 The L-10-T Adult Training Manual

The L-10-T Adult Training Manual is used by adults being trained in L-10-T or may be used as a bible study. The normal time for training is about 6 hours. It may be rushed (little discussion) in 4 hours or may take 8 hours if the discussions are done thoroughly and extensive role plays are done.

2.5 The L-10-T Youth Training Manual

The L-10-T Youth Training Manual is used by youth (12 – 21 years) being trained in L-10-T or may be used as a Bible study. The normal time for training is about 4 hours. It may be rushed (little discussion) in 3 hours or may take 6 hours if the discussions are done thoroughly and extensive role plays are done.

4. Please tell us what you are doing with L-10-T

One of the keys to L-10-T is to come back and tell what happened as done by the seventy disciples when they returned to tell Jesus what happened (Luke 10:17).
